Faro has been the Research and Documentation Specialist with the Department of Culture, Nevis Island Administration for the past 16 years.  With the transition from the Department of Culture to the Nevis Cultural Development Foundation in 2007, he was named Manager of the Research and Documentation Unit.  

Extremely popular as an emcee and announcer, he has performed these duties for innumerable shows, ceremonies, sports events and other community functions since 1987.  Faro is also a full time community activist, part time journalist and historical tour guide and lecturer. He has served as a member of the CULTURAMA Committee, on the Nevis Historical and Conservation Society Board of Directors, as Scout Leader from 1983-1987 and is a member of the St. Thomas’ Fest.
